Daniel Morcombe’s killer, Brett Peter Cowan, has been hospitalised after a fellow inmate threw boiling water at him.
The attack took place on Friday morning August 5 at around 9.30AM at the Brisbane’s Wolston Correctional Centre, where Cowan is serving a life term.
Cowan, 46, was whisked to hospital with burns reportedly to his head, chest and legs. He is in a stable condition.

In 2014, Cowan was sentenced to life in prison for the abduction and murder of 13-year-old Daniel on the Sunshine Coast.
