Dannii Mingogue may be responsible for a string of pop hits, but it appears the Australian star is still humble enough to consider returning to the TV show that put her name on the map, Home And Away.
Minogue didn’t stutter when she confessed she’s “totally” open to head back to the iconic Australian soap – where she played rebel Emma Jackson from 1989-1990. The mother-of-one even admitted she has interviewed for Home And Away’s 30th anniversary.
“They’ve definitely made contact,” the 44-year-old revealed to News Corp Australia.
“If I did it, I’d want it to be short and sharp, in and out, because those schedules are huge,” she said.
“And that was fine when I was 17 and doing it but, like, my life is a bit more balanced with home life and being a mum.”
When quizzed on what her character would be up to these days, Minogue wasn’t sure if Jackson would still be a rebel.
“It would be interesting to see what they would think up for me,” she said.
“I think she went to Queensland, they all went to Queensland.”
