The former Married At First Sight star took to Instagram today to complain about the heeled shoes he has been given to rehearse in.

“So, Dancing With The Stars have just given me my dance shoes. Not overly enthused on these,” he captioned a video of himself trying on the shoes, and a further picture in which he can be seen holding up the heeled shoes with a look of concern on his face.

And his celebrity pals were quick to chip in with their thoughts on his new attire.

“Bootylicious,” wrote former MAFS star Billy Vincent.

Ashley Irvine commented a series of laughing emojis, while The Bachelor’s Jessica Brody wrote: “COME ON BOOTS!”

MAFS’ Mike Gunner estimated that Dean would “be 6’8″ in those kicks”.

Last week Dean found himself embroiled in an online spat with Georgia Love’s fiancé, Lee Elliott after the Bachelorette star slammed DWTS producers for choosing a “chauvinist bigot” to star on the show.

“I am as far from any of those things as a person can be,” Dean hit back.

“Everyone’s entitled to their opinion. However, if he had ever actually met me, he would know that I am as far from any of those things as a person can be. I don’t judge anyone based on gender, ethnicity, sexuality or any other such traits.

“I am choosing to ignore negativity and focus on the challenge of learning to dance and hopefully raising money for my nominated charity, the BridgIT Water Foundation. That’s what it’s [the show] all about.”

“Dancing with the Stars is such a great show and I am honoured and humbled to be chosen amongst such a talented bunch of people,” Dean concluded.
