Ryan Gallagher informed his fans that he and his Married At First Sight’s co-star Dean Wells were no longer mates.
The show’s biggest rivalry was back on thanks to a case of an ex. And now Dean has responded in a six minute YouTube video.
Meet the cast from MAFS 2019 in the video below!
“I woke up to a bunch of messages in my inbox saying you’ve done it again,” he complains in the epic rant. “I’m sick of being made out as the bad guy.”
“I’m so sorry his mum was diagnosed with cancer. Ryan’s parents are lovely people. My mum passed away six months before MAFS. Cancer is a terrible, terrible thing.
“Unfortunately, that has nothing to do with the situation. We had no idea.
“I found out a couple of days ago.”
Dean then talks about the nature of Ryan’s romance with Ayla – how she moved to Australia to be with him, and how he says the pair always had his support.
“They were going to be this amazing couple but then Ryan got a call from Warner Bros to be the next Bachelor.”
Dean outrageously alleges that he dumped her straight away, “he calls her to say ‘sorry, I’m going to go be more famous and be the Bachelor.’”
Ryan has not commented on Dean’s sensational claims in the video.
Dean also talks about how Ayla “uprooted her whole life – her job, her house and family” to be with Ryan. He alleges that Ryan left Ayla “stranded here” after given the “potential to be the next Bachelor”.
“[He] left her stranded in Sydney, homeless and threw her belongings in the bin. He then ghosted her and never returned her calls.”
Dean further claims Channel 9 blocked Ryan from being the Bachelor, Dean summing it up as “a waste of time”.
Dean explained his birthday was at the Candy shop, where he invited Ryan.
He adds that Eden and Telv were behind the video being filmed where Ayla is dancing with another girl.
Dean says “she is just a friend.”
“I have nothing against her. I chatted to her, so what. Ryan blocked me and I haven’t spoken to him since.”
Dean claims that Ryan “leaked the text messages” failing to show his friendly follow up question about the comedian’s gig.
“We didn’t disrespect Ryan. We’re all his best mates.”
“We love you bro, wish you all the best. I’m sorry about what happened to your mum. We’re all there for you.”
Ryan is yet to respond to Dean’s video, or the outrageous claims contained therein.
