Dean Wells is a self-confessed, “Alpha Male”, but now the Married At First Sight star has hit back at fans after he was scorned for joking about a “wife-swapping” on the most recent episode of the Channel 9 reality TV show.
On Tuesday night, Wells led an explicit ‘boys’ night chat’ about wife swapping with his male co-stars.
Dean – who caused controversy earlier this month when he cheated on his partner Tracey with Davina – asks Justin a shocking question: “If you could have any other wife in the experiment, who would it be?”
The 39-year-old who is still going steady with Tracey despite a few hurdles, then revealed he’d also been attracted to Carly in the past.
Instead of reacting angrily, Justin then claims he feels Carly is “like his little sister.” Before he strangely admits he thinks his wife is more attracted to Dean and Troy.
At least this is what we saw. But, following the airing of this episode, Dean has hit back at the editing process of the popular reality show.
“Ah boys’ night. Fun was had by all, except @pattymiller__mafs (Patrick), who said he would like to swap for @davvyxx (Davina) but for some reason they didn’t show that?!?
“They did show me asking the question about other wives mums which the producers forced me to say cos the night was too boring for @taramcwilliam75 Oh well . Hopefully, most people don’t take it too seriously,” he shared.
Even still, fans were quick to respond to his apology in a negative manner.
“You’re a cheating loser and don’t even respect Tracey, I hope she dumps you on your ugly ass. Loser,” one wrote.
While another commented: “So funny how you can somehow mess things up AGAIN!!! Seriously…oh dear!”
And funnily enough, an hour after posting his explosive comments on the social media site, Dean edited his caption. “Well that was a fun night. Bit of lighthearted banter amongst the boys,” he began.
“Hopefully no one takes it too seriously. Not everyone has the same sense of humour as me, so sorry if I offended anyone. No disrespect intended. Bants level set to expert,” the edited version read.
This is getting VERY confusing!
