The ex-fiancée of American actor and comedian, Drew Carey has been murdered, police confirmed earlier today.

Los Angeles police say Amie Harwick, 38, was killed over the weekend and an ex-boyfriend has been arrested as a suspect in her death.
The sex therapist was found unresponsive in her home on Saturday with injuries “consistent with a fall” after police confirmed she was found beneath a third-story balcony.
According to police, An FBI-LAPD Task Force arrested 41-year-old Gareth Pursehouse on Saturday afternoon. He is being held on a US$2 million bail.
In a statement to Us Weekly, Price is Right host, Carey that he was “overcome with grief” at the news of Harwick’s untimely death.
“Amie and I had a love that people are lucky to have once in a lifetime,” the 61-year-old said.
“She was a positive force in the world, a tireless and unapologetic champion for women, and passionate about her work as a therapist. I am overcome with grief. I would like to thank you in advance for giving myself and everyone who loved Amie privacy while we try to work through this tragic situation.”
Harwick, a former Playboy model, specialised in family and sex therapy, and often advocated for sex workers, CNN reports.
Harwick and Carey went public with their relationship in June 2017 and became engaged in January 2018. However, by November, they couple had split and called off their engagement.
