Dubai's Torch Tower on fire

UPDATE: Dubai Media Office have tweeted that the fire has been brought under control, with no injuries reported.

Residents and visitors have been forced to evacuate Dubai’s 86-storey Torch Tower, one of the tallest residential buildings in the world.

Dubai Media Officer confirme the inferno this morning, tweeting that firefighters were fighting the blaze in the tower located in the Marina district.

Photos and videos posted to social media show the extent of the inferno.
