On June 5, the Channel 7 personality confirmed the news live on air.

“I have a bit of announcement myself, the girls already know.
“But Kochie, surprise… We’re having a baby!”
Koch was overjoyed, asking for the due date, to which she replied, “End of the year!”
The team at Sunrise were over the moon.
Eddie told the cameras, “Mum you can finally tell everyone,” adding it was the first grandchild on her family’s side.
She also added it was very hard to keep it a secret.
Edwina Bartholomew married her husband Neil Varcoe in a stunning ceremony on Warramba farm near rural Lithgow, NSW.
The Sunrise presenter and digital media executive exchanged vows in front of friends and family on Saturday April 21 at the 1980s farmhouse they lovingly restored.
Edwina wore a vintage dress which has been worn by three generations of her family, including her much-loved Grandmother in 1944. The gown was altered by Melbourne couturier Sonia Cappellazzo, of Cappellazzo Couture.
The 34-year-old previously revealed to WHO that the dress was not made by a designer, but described the gown as “an old dress, vintage, country romantic.”
