Ellen DeGeneres is the envy of royal fans after revealing she got to snuggle baby Archie during a recent trip to London.
The American talk show host revealed the news on Monday as she made a return to The Ellen Show following a summer break.

“Here’s a sentence I thought I would never say, but I spent the afternoon with Prince Harry and Meghan,” Ellen, who is married to Aussie actress Portia de Rossi, said.
The most important thing is I got to hold little Archie, the baby.
“I fed Archie, I held Archie. He weighs 15 pounds (6.8kg), which the exchange rate I believe is $17 dollars here,” she joked.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been fiercely protective of Archie’s privacy since his birth in May, only releasing a handful of images of the four-month-old – most of which obscure the royal baby’s face.
During her monologue, Ellen, 61, also defended the Duke and Duchess over the recent criticism they have faced.
“They are so amazing, they are the cutest couple and so down to earth,” she said.
“And I just hate it; I see them get attacked and it’s not fair.”
She added that the royal couple were doing “so much good for the world.”
“Portia and I talked to them all about the conservation they’re doing for wildlife and they’re doing all this work in Botswana for elephants and I love that.”
