From it’s opulent furnishings, a nitrogen espresso on tap and seats that massage your whole body while your hair is washed, Christopher Hanna is the ultimate destination for an up-scale pre-drink with the girls or just a convenient blow dry bar that happens to offer an array of quality cocktails in the heart of Sydney’s CBD.
The new salon, which the first of its kind, has a pretty simple concept, you can get your hair done and have a drink in hand.
Speaking to WHO exclusively, part-owner and head stylist Christopher Hanna opened up about how the concept came to mind. Funnily enough, (like most great ones) Hanna explained the idea was born while having a drink with business partners Sam Badawi and Guy Binder.
“My business partners has always wanted to have a bar… Often we’d go to Hemisphere after work and the more we thought about it we thought it was a good idea. Imagine going somewhere you can get dolled up and have a drink?!”
The hair stylist and his business partner finally decided to open their doors in Bridget Street Sydney, (around the corner from Mr.Wong) in Jan 2018.
CH offers $45 blowdries on a Friday which comes with a complimentary espresso martini, or any of the other delish cocktails on the bar’s menu.
“At this stage, we’re looking at Melbourne and Perth. We’d like to get into New York and LA, eventually,” Hanna said about expanding the niche business.
The hair salon is renown for its quality haircuts, Hanna revealed he has a team of more than 10 quality hair colourists and stylists that are on hand to take your hair from drab to fab.
