Pip and Michael confirmed to Daily Mail Australia the two have been close friends for 12 years and are working on a project together.
“Absolutely unfounded and untrue. That’s all I have to say. Thank you,” Pip said.
Meanwhile, Michael Clarke’s personal assistant Sasha Armstrong, who he was seen getting close to on a yacht, added: “Michael has known Pip for over a decade and is currently working with both Pip and Claire [Treg – PE Nation’s co-founder] on a special project with P.E Nation.”
Meanwhile, Kyly Clarke has broken her silence since the announcement.
The former model told Daily Mail Australia that she was perfectly fine, despite the relationship breakdown.
“Of course I am,” she said when asked if she was doing okay.
The publication also noted the 38-year-old wasn’t wearing her wedding ring.
When asked about the couple’s four-year-old daughter, Kelsey, she reassured that the tot is “doing amazing.”
However, Kyly declined to comment when asked if she and Michael would be attending the wedding of the ex-cricket star’s personal assistant.
“We said everything we wanted to say in our statement.”
Michael and his assistant, Sasha Armstrong made headlines in November 2018 when they were photographed together on a luxury yacht.
On Wednesday, Michael, 41 and Kyly released a statement saying they were separating after seven years of marriage.
“After living apart for some time, we have made the difficult decision to separate as a couple amicably,” they said in a statement issued to The Australian’s Media Diary.
“With the greatest of respect for each other, we’ve come to the mutual conclusion that this is the best course for us to take while committed to the co-parenting of our daughter.”
