The news we have been waiting YEARS for has finally been confirmed – a Friends reunion special is in the works!

According to The Hollywood Reporter the special, which is being referred to as “unscripted” will bring Jennifer Aniston (Rachel), Courteney Cox (Monica), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe), David Schwimmer (Ross), Matt LeBlanc (Joey) and Matthew Perry (Chandler) back together 15 years after the final season aired in 2004.
As yet, there is no word on what exactly the reunion special will entail, but THR states that it will not be a new episode of the series, but rather a special that will bring the cast back together in an unspecified way.
Over the last few weeks, Jennifer Aniston has been hinting at a Friends reunion.
The actress marked her Instagram debut with a photo of herself and her Friends cast members reuniting for dinner.
And during an interview on The Ellen Show last month, Jen said although a new season of the show is unlikely, “something is in the works.”
In her interview with Ellen, the Murder Mystery star said the cast would love there to be “something” but they aren’t yet sure what that “something” is.
