Symon Lovett and Adam Densten are longstanding Gogglebox favourites, but just how long can we expect to see them on our screens?

As long as the show continues to air, the boys assure WHO.

What keeps bringing you back?

SYMON LOVETT: It’s pretty fun, we just sit on the couch and talk to our mate about television, so the work isn’t really that hard.

ADAM DENSTEN: It’s so easy and normal to come back to, like Symon said.

LOVETT: We didn’t think it was going to last two episodes – this is our fifth year now
– I think that’s the wildest thing. We didn’t even think the concept was good enough to apply for in the first place, let alone a season, and this is now Season 9.

Have you guys been recognised a lot?

LOVETT: Usually someone will look at us individually and say, “I know you from somewhere, your face is really familiar.”
If we are standing together that helps.

Have you enjoyed meeting fans?

LOVETT Everyone is incredibly lovely! We’re more than happy to answer any questions or take photos. We are really fortunate that people have been so positive in their response.

Are you excited to get a new family?

LOVETT: Yeah, we’re really excited! I’m excited as a viewer of the show.
DENSTEN: It’s like getting a new brother- or sister-in-law or something – like a new member of the family, can’t wait to meet them.

Are you going to miss Wayne Mott and Tom Walsh?
LOVETT: Yeah, they’re the best. They’re really funny. Tom is so sassy, I can’t even imagine being that sassy. So I think that the show might miss that a little bit, I know we will.

Who would you like to see join the show?

LOVETT: I’d like to see a brother and sister.

DENSTEN: Just to see some sibling rivalry and fighting!

Would you do another reality show?

LOVETT:Survivor would be awesome.

DENSTEN: Symon backs himself, he thinks he could win Survivor.

LOVETT: No, I wouldn’t be able to lie that much. But I’d love to go on The Block – God, that would be fun!
DENSTEN: We could do The Block together. What’s been the worst thing you’ve experienced as friends?

LOVETT We caught up when we were in Japan and Symon was so hungover that he was spewing in the bushes.

Did you help him?
LOVETT: No! He took photos of me!

How are the girlfriends?
LOVETT: Adam lives with Rachel and I moved in with Gabs just before Christmas. I’m really, really loving it – it’s been really fun.

Any plans to quit the show?
LOVETT: We’re lucky to know what we’re doing next week, let alone in six months or a year’s time! But we’re having too much fun.

What can we expect to see this season?
LOVETT:There’s two seasons of MKR, so we’ll probably see about 40 episodes of that.

DENSTEN: You can expect some brand-new socks. That will definitely happen. Two
new families. More of the same, but better of the same!
