Shocking new details have emerged in the sad case of the baby girl who was found dead on a Gold Coast beach on Monday.

In the report which aired on Sunrise this morning, Seven’s reporter Bianca Stone was live from the memorial which has been set up to commemorate the little girl.
“Both relatives and strangers have left blankets and flowers and trinkets here at the beach,” she explained in the video above.

On Monday morning, Queensland police confirmed the nine-month-old girl died after being found on that beach at Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast.
In a press conference, police confirmed the infant “was located by a passer by” who called police to the scene.
A candlelight vigil will be held at Surfers Paradise Beach tomorrow afternoon from 5pm for the baby girl who was found dead at the water’s edge on Monday. Her father is expected to be charged with her murder today. @sunriseon7 pic.twitter.com/rilOeMT7qK
