Guy Sebastian slammed for State of Origin performance

Guy Sebastian has been mercilessly mocked online for his State of Origin performance last night.

In an embarrassing moment for The Voice coach, the crowd gathered for Game III of the NRL Origin series at the ANZ Stadium in Sydney seemed less than impressed as he took to the stage to perform his latest single Choir.

And fans watching at home slammed the NRL for not providing a cooler act, labelling Sebastian as “music for nerds.”

Many NRL fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment, mocking the 37-year-old former Australian Idol winner.
