TV and radio stars Hamish Blake and Andy Lee have revealed they nearly died during the filming of their new Channel Nine travel show Perfect Holiday.

The loveable duo claimed they defeated death by a whisker after a prank went horribly wrong, Hamish revealed on Monday during an event on the Gold Coast post-Logies.
The father-of-two spoke about the moment a scene involving a car plunging off the side of a cliff nearly ended in catastrophic disaster.
‘One day we came close to dying,’ the 37-year-old revealed.
‘We were in that car and a guy drove a forklift through the side of it as a joke.’
He added: ‘In Australia, we don’t do a lot of “forklift through the window” gear, but in Alaska, it’s one of the funniest jokes you can do. We learned a lot.’
Fortunately, Hamish was joking about being close to death and the pair weren’t even in the car. Phew!
Last year, Hamish and Andy, 38 announced they would be starring in their new TV show Hamish and Andy’s “Perfect” Holiday.
Although similar to their Gap Year and Caravan of Courage TV specials, this time the comedians adventures will be full of unexpected surprises.
‘The twist this time around is I have organised a bunch of activities for Hamish and he’s organised a bunch of things for me to do,’ Andy recently told a local publication.
