Haters Back Off won’t be returning to Netflix.
The online streaming service has decided to not renew the comedy series after two just series, Variety confirms.
Haters Back Off was based off YouTuber Colleen Ballinger’s popular personality Miranda Sings. It was the first scripted series ever picked up from a YouTube channel.
Ballinger says she is ‘heartbroken’ about the news.
“Absolutely devastated that Haters Back Off isn’t coming back for another season,” Ballinger wrote. “I put my entire heart and soul into this show and finding out this news has left me heartbroken.
“I desperately wish I could continue telling the story of Haters Back Off, but I’m extremely grateful for the experience and to all of you for making it happen.”
