It’s a boy for Holly Madison!
The Playboy: Girls Next Door alum and her husband Pasquale Rotella welcomed their second child, a son, on Sunday, Aug. 7, Rotella announced Monday on Instagram.
“What an incredible week. A crazy, stressful start, which transformed into this magical moment. First, a five-year-long indictment against me was finally dismissed; then yesterday Holly, Rainbow & I welcomed a healthy 8-pound, 14-ounce baby boy to the family,” he writes,sharing a photo of his newborn son’s hand in his.
“Now I’m holding my beautiful son at the hospital reading amazing birthday wishes from all of you. Definitely one of the most memorable weeks of my life! Lots of love to everyone who took the time to post, tag or send me a message online. I’m grateful & touched! We’ll be heading home from the hospital later & I’ll be posting photos of the new baby soon. Thanks ‘n love you ALL!”
The couple, who will celebrate the three-year anniversary of their lavish Disneyland wedding in September, revealed baby number two’s impending arrival exclusively to WHO in January.
The new baby joins Madison, 36, and Rotella’s firstborn, 3-year-old big sister Rainbow — who had a very special part in her parents’ exciting news, and seems ready to take on some older sibling duties.
“[Rainbow] was the first person my husband and I told,” Madison said shortly after the announcement, which was followed up by her rep confirming in March that her second child would be a boy.
“I think she’s going to be a good big sister,” Madison continued. “She’s very caring and she loves playing with her baby dolls and taking care of the pets.”
Although the couple have yet to reveal their son’s name, it will likely be unique.
“I don’t really like normal names,” she explained at the time. “We have a few finalists.”
Already having experienced pregnancy and new motherhood, Madison was ready to enjoy a more laid-back approach to parenting two children.
“I’m so excited,” the memoir author said in March. “This time I know what to expect a little bit more. [That] makes it even more enjoyable.”
