House Rules’ Pete and Courtney are determined to exact revenge on rival couple Tim and Mat after not being chosen for the early room reveal on Wednesday’s episode.

Admitting they were disappointed that they hadn’t been chosen for the early reveal Courtney confessed that she and her partner had thought up a way to get their own back.
The scheming couple devised a plan to sneakily tile the floor right outside where Tim and Mat were renovating, making it impossible for the brothers to access the room.
‘Yeah, wrong decision. Us being in the entry, for them to access Hallie’s room on the last day… Whereas if we’d been picked, it’s likely it would have been tiled the day before, so that could actually shoot them in the foot,’ Pete said to camera.
Understandably, Melbourne-based chippies Tim and Mat weren’t impressed, calling the plan a ‘low blow.’
‘All the other entries have been tiled on the last day. If you’re going to tile while I try to complete a room, when you don’t need to, you’ll be tiling it a few times, mate, because I’m going to step right on it,’ raged Tim.
However, Melbourne-based Pete was defiant. ‘By not picking us, they’ve set themselves up for running around the entire house to get back into Hallie’s room.
