We’re seeing a brand new side to Gogglebox star Yvie Kent as she wows on I’m A Celebrity.
The TV star is sharing with viewers a real inside look into her romantic past.
On Thursday’s episode, Yvie was chatting to Richard Reid when the topic moved to love.
Yvie had once encountered a man who was a phone switchboard operator for Channel Seven.
“We spoke intensely for about a week and then we met,” she shared.
“He wasn’t at all what I thought he was going to look like even though we had completely described ourselves to each other.”
“We went on to the pub and he said, ‘I’m just so disappointed’. And you know what, I’ve been single since.”
The bad experiences didn’t stop there.
“I had a guy once say to me on a date ‘maybe you should just go for a run’ out of nowhere.”
Richard was shocked as his campmate continued, “I don’t have time for any of it. Like f— this sh–.”
“All lot of straight white men think they can say that sh– to a fat girl. They just think they can get you to make a different choice.”
“I don’t know what he thought he was getting. I thought I was getting Keanu Reeves,’ she said of the unnamed gentleman.”
Richard asked, “What were you getting?”
Laughing, she said, “I got more of Luke Perry now.”
