With a new TV gig on Studio 10 and a spot on last season’s Dancing With The Star’s, Cassandra Thorburn has already moved on in a huge way since her highly-publicised divorce from Karl Stefanovic last year. However, the former journalist has made things official with the purchase of her new stunning $2.3 million home.

The TV star has snapped up the multi-million dollar home just a suburb away from her old, $9 million home, in Sydney’s Neutral Bay, according to realestate.com.au.
The listing for the light “art deco” property describes it as a “newly renovated semi-detached home enjoying both leafy serenity and supreme convenience from its enviable address less than 10 minutes from the Sydney CBD”.
It features a “cathedral ceiling with elevated windows soaring above the kitchen and dining”, a “sleek kitchen centred around a Caesarstone island bench with waterfall edges” and a “versatile sunroom/home office off the elegant lounge with feature fireplace”.
There is also a “low-maintenance north facing courtyard garden perfect for outdoor lounging”.
In August, Domain reported that Karl and Cass’s stunning waterfront property was sold for “more than $9 million”. The mansion was originally purchased for $8 million in June 2016.
Last month, Cass opened up about co-parenting her three children Jackson, 20, daughter Ava, 12, and son River, 12, with Karl, admitting it can be very challenging.”
Speaking on The Juggling Act podcast, the 48-year-old said: “Co-parenting I think is a massive challenge. Even if there’s an amicable agreement between the parties, it still becomes hard,” the former Dancing With The Stars contestant admitted. “You’re leading separate lives, you’re no longer in a co-environment. So co-parenting… that’s a big word.”
