They’re both set to judge new TV talent show The Masked Singer Australia, but already Dannii Minogue and Lindsay Lohan are locked in a bizarre feud.
According to New Idea, mum-of-one Dannii is said to be furious that U.S star Lindsay, 33, is getting paid so much for the her part in the new Network Ten show.
“Dannii wasn’t told Lindsay would be her co-judge and she’s being paid twice what Dannii is making,” spills a source.
“Not only that, Lindsay is bringing an entourage of three. This includes her very expensive LA hair and makeup stylist, who Lindsay is demanding to fly business, while Dannii gets two first class tickets.”
Furthermore, the publication reports that Dannii, 47, is somewhat miffed that the American actress will be judging an Aussie talent show.
“How will Lindsay Lohan know how to recognise an Aussie masked singing voice? The whole premise of the show is trying to pick the masked Aussie singer! ” the source said.
“[fellow judges] Dave Hughes and Jackie O think it is hysterical, as Lindsay dramas will deliver to their top-rating radio shows.”
Earlier this month the Mean Girls star confirmed she was set to head Down Under for Ten’s new show.
“Look out Australia, I’m coming,” Lohan told The Daily Telegraph. ”The Masked Singer is such a fun concept that really gets everyone hooked and wanting more. I am definitely going to see if I can try a few of the costumes on also. I am very excited about the trip and being on the panel to judge the show.”
Hosted by The Bachelor Australia‘s veteran presenter Osher Günsberg, 45, the singing competition— which was a huge success in the United States and Korea— will follow 12 Australian celebrities who will be dressed in outrageous costumes so their identity is hidden. Judged on their vocal abilities and performance, each episode one A-lister will be unmasked.
