Jack Vidgen has made his first public appearance since the brutal online trolling he received after his Eurovision: Australia Decides performance.

The 23-year-old singer was pictured on Wednesday attending the opening of new Japanese restaurant Tokki in Sydney.
Putting the online backlash behind him, the blonde star looked relaxed and happy as he chatted to fellow guests.
Last weekend the former The Voice Australia star found himself the victim of online trolling after fans criticised his singing and cosmetically enhanced looks during his Eurovision: Australia Decides performance on Saturday.
“Stop shrieking,” one troll wrote, commenting on Jack’s vocals.
Another joked: “Jack Vidgen sounds like me singing along to Mariah [Carey] after a white wine.”
“Sorry Jack Vidgen. Hard no,” a third added.
And then came the comments about his looks.
“I still remember the good ole’ times when Jack Vidgen had no lips,” one person cruelly tweeted.
Another said: “Jack Vidgen’s hair freaks me out.”
Last month, the former child star opened up about how he found “security” and “confidence” after changing his appearance, telling Daily Mail Australia everyone has their “own journey in finding security and confidence”.
“I think everyone has their own journey in finding security and confidence and that’s the message in the song,” said the singer, who has spoken out in the past about having lip fillers.
“No matter what that looks like, it looks different to different people.”
Jack made the comments while speaking about his new song ‘I Am King I Am Queen’, which inspires fans to be who they want to be and to accept themselves.
In May last year, Jack admitted to getting lip fillers and said he had finally found happiness in himself.
“I’ve had filler done [in my lips],” the star told The Kyle & Jackie O Show at the time, when asked about the changes he’s made to his face.
