An emotional Jamie Lynn Spears has opened up about having to put her career on hold to become a mum at just 16 years old.
The Nickelodeon star and sister of pop princess Britney, is documenting her return to the limelight with a revealing and emotional documentary called, Jamie Lynn Spears: When the Lights Go Out, that will air on TLC next month.
The 25-year-old discusses the criticism she received when she fell pregnant at 16-years-old.
“The child star who got pregnant,” Jamie Lynn says on the special. “A lot of horrible, nasty things were said.”
“I look back now and I’m like, ‘Oh my Gosh,'” she adds, wiping away tears.
Jamie Lynn’s life with her now 7-year-old daughter Maddie and husband James Watson is also documented. Sister Britney also makes a special cameo appearance.
