Australian TV royalty Jimmy Hannan has passed away at the age of 84.

Hannan’s daughter Emily Gillman confirmed the death.
She said in a statement, “He passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer.”
“He was 84 so he had a fantastic life.”

The icon was surrounded by his loved ones.
He will be laid to rest on Friday.
Hannan took home the Gold Logie back in 1965, and was celebrated as a Australian variety show host, singer, entertainer and game show host.
He famously released a single with The Bee Gees.
He is survived by his wife and four children.
