John Cena and Nikki Bella have ended their engagement and broken up after six years together.
The couple released a joint statement confirming the news.
“While this decision was a difficult one, we continue to have a great deal of love and respect for one another,” the couple told Us Weekly. “We ask that you respect our privacy during this time in our lives.”
Bella shared a similar message on her Instagram account, describing their decision to split as “difficult”.
The pair began dating in 2012, and Cena, 40, proposed to Bella, 34, one year ago at Wrestlemania.
The Blockers actor may have hinted at the split over the weekend, sharing the quote “We were together. I forget the rest.” on April 15.
