2019 is a fresh new start for Karl Stefanovic.
The iconic journalist has moved on from the TODAY show, but he is still in the middle of drama surrounding his departure.
The former breakfast show host says his Instagram account was hacked after someone from his personal account “liked” several comments mocking the new TODAY show line-up.
“Whilst I was out fishing my Instagram account has been hacked. I am investigating this with the authorities and will be back soon. Karlos.”
The message sat on top of a photo of himself on a boat.
One of the comments liked by Stefanovic was the announcement of Deb Knight being his replacement.
“Won’t be watching. Well, Miss Gardiner [sic] got her way. Pathetic, smile, agree and laugh. It’s all they do,” one of the messages read.
Another read, “The audience want answers.”
The all female line-up features Georgie Gardner and Deborah Knight.
