Kate Middleton made a surprise appearance in London at day two of Wimbledon on Tuesday – and naturally, she stole the show!
The royal – who is patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club – drew gasps as she breezed into the annual tennis tournament wearing a double-breasted, white shirtdress, a custom design from Marylebone boutique Suzannah, which she accessorised with an Alexander McQueen belt and classic Ray Ban sunglasses.
The Duchess of Cambridge made her way to Court 14, where she watched British tennis player Harriet Dart play American Christina McHale .
The mum of three left husband, Prince William and children Prince George, five, Princess Charlotte, four and Prince Louis at home to attend the sporting event. Instead, the down-to earth royal shunned the royal box and chose to watch the match from the regular seats alongside Britain’s Fed Cup captain Anne Keothavong and British number three Katie Boulter.
However, Kate did return to the royal box at Centre Court later in the day to watch Tatjana Maria play Angelique Kerber, where she was sat with Wimbledon Chairman Philip Brook.
Kate’s been busy this week – she also held a children’s picnic in her back to nature garden. Watch below:
Royal fans will of course remember Kate’s join appearance at Wimbledon last year alongside sister-in-law Meghan Markle.
While the Duchess of Sussex is still on limited duties after welcoming son, Archie Harrison on May 6 with husband Prince Harry, it is expected that she will make an appearance later in the tournament to support her good friend, Serena Williams.
