Kate Middleton dazzles in a tiara during Dutch Royals state visit

While all our focus has been on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry as they wow Fiji during their 16-day royal tour, Buckingham Palace decided to throw a beautiful soiree for Dutch royals Queen Maxima and King Willem-Alexander – and Kate Middleton completely stole the show!

It was very big night at the palace as Queen Elizabeth ii hosted Queen Maxima and King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands for a grand state banquet.

The stunning affair, which took place on Tuesday, saw the British Royal Family’s biggest members attend.

Prince William and Duchess Catherine joined the Queen, Duchess Camilla and Prince Charles as well as British Prime Minister Teresa May.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are good friends with the Dutch royals.

Kate wowed in a blue Alexander McQueen gown.

Just like Meghan has been, the Duchess paid a special tribute to her late mother-in-law.

Kate donned Princess Diana’s Collingwood pearl earrings, along with Queen Alexandra’s wedding gift necklace. Her hair was in a soft bun to highlight the exquisite Lovers Knot tiara.

Tiaras played a huge part on the day, with Queen Maxima wearing a blue gown teamed with the Stuart tiara featuring the Stuart diamond.
