Earlier this year the Gold Logie winner also announced that she’s hoping to return to acting after a five year hiatus.

“I would be lying if I said I’m not looking forward to the day I’m back on a TV or film set, flexing those [acting] muscles again,” she said. “I hope it’s not too far away. Fingers crossed something will come in 2019,” she said to TV Week.

Kate’s recent success will no doubt come with much relief, as the actress has weathered a testing few months. First rocked by marriage split rumours and then dealing with husband Stuart Webb’s drink driving charges.
