Grieving Kerri-Anne Kennerley put on a brave face to mark her first public appearance since husband John’s death in February.
The 65-year-old marked her return to the spotlight on April 2 by attending the opening night of the Saturday Night Fever musical in Sydney, at the Sydney Lyric Theatre.

The TV veteran sparkled in an orange sequinned top and chic black trousers, accessorising with a Chanel handbag.
John, 78, died in late February of pneumonia after he was left paralysed from the neck down after a serious fall in 2016. The couple had been blissfully married for 35 years.
On Thursday, Feb 28, Kerri-Anne Kennerley, who famously accepted her Logie Hall of Fame award with her husband, took to Instagram to share the tragic news.
“It’s with a heavy heart and awful sadness that I let you know that my beautiful husband John passed away last night,” she wrote alongside a wedding photo.
“As you all know, John has faced some tremendous challenges over the past few years and with each he has been extraordinarily brave and determined to overcome those hurdles and live a normal life.”
She then addressed all those who helped him during his trialling time.
“I want to thank everyone at St Vincent’s Hospital for the beautiful care they have provided to John in his last days.”
“John passed away peacefully with his son Simon and me by his side.”
Kerri-Anne ended her tribute, saying, “John, you were the love of my life. Xxx”
