Kim Kardashian has posted a heartfelt tribute to her late father, Robert Kardashian on what would have been his 79th birthday.
Kim took to Instagram to pay tribute to her late father, who passed away 20 years ago, sharing a sweet message and throwback photos of them together.
“Happy Birthday Dad,” she wrote. “It’s almost getting to the point where I’ve had to remember you longer than I’ve known you. Its been 20 years since we’ve celebrated your birthday here on earth. But I will take it because I had the best dad in the whole wide world and am so lucky I had 22 years with you!”
“There’s so much I wanna tell you and show you and so many little humans I wish you knew because God you would love them so much!”
“I can close my eyes and hear your voice and remember the funniest little things about you that make me so happy. I’ll never ever let that go.”
“I just really miss you and kinda need you right now. Please come to me in a dream soon. I love you so much happy 79th birthday!”
Robert Kardashian, who gained recognition as O.J Simposon’s defence attorney during his 1995 murder trial passed away in 2003 following a short battle with esophageal cancer. He was 59.
He was married to Kris Jenner from 1978 to 1991, and the couple shared four children; Rob, Kim, Khloe and Kourtney.
The pair’s only son, Rob Kardashian also posted a tribute, taking to Instagram to share photos of the family together.
Friends, family and fans flooded the tribute posts with messages of support. With Travis Scott, Kylie Jenner and Paris Hilton reacting to the posts with heat emojis.
“He is so proud of you Kim 🤍 you carry his legacy with you every day,” wrote one user, whilst another commented, “omg this made me cry.”
