The usually larger than life Kyle Sandilands has been unusually quiet since announcing his shock split from girlfriend of eight years, Imogen Anthony on Tuesday.

The shock jock was a surprise no-show for his scheduled The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Wednesday morning, with former NRL star Beau Ryan standing in as his replacement.
Earlier this week, Kyle, 48 announced live on air that he and Imogen, 28 had gone their separate ways.
“It ran its course and we haven’t lived together for some time,” he told listeners. “We split several months ago.”
The sad news comes after an insider told New Idea in July that Kyle had secretly called time on their long-term romance after their love for one another eventually fizzled out.
Imogen later hit back at claims they were “living separate lives”, revealing the story couldn’t be further from the truth.
Sharing a risque Instagram photo of Imogen straddling the 48-year-old, she captioned the post: “You got that odd kinda love that i like” 😈 8 years, still counting and they are still trying to rock this b***h 😅😅 come ON!! ❤️ Get it together idiots 🙄”
Kyle also slammed the report on the Kyle and Jackie O Show, labelling the story “rubbish”.
“Oh no, it’s a terrible day but luckily I have chocolate cake to make it all wash down easier!” he told co-host Jackie O sarcastically. “I don’t understand why people buy that rubbish (New Idea). It should be called Fantasy magazine, where it’s just fantasy stories in there.”
Since the split announcement, Imogen has shared several videos to Instagram of herself partying with friends and American rapper Brooke Candy in LA.
Kyle and Imogen’s manager, Bruno Bouchet, told Daily Mail Australia on Tuesday they “won’t be making any further comment outside of what was said on the radio this morning.”
