Australian golden girl, Lara Worthington, has posted some sweet throwback videos and photos of her time road-tripping through Los Angeles last year.
Tagging photographer friend, Darren McDonald, the model shared videos of herself rowing along a river bathed in sunlight, driving through a gorgeous yellow sunset, and casting a fishing rod into clear, tranquil water.
Her previous post saw her posing in one of McDonald’s shots, a black and white image of her standing among a rocky water bed with her back to the camera.
The image is tagged at Sequoia National Park, in among the forests of California.
Lara has recently returned to live in Australia after living in Los Angeles with her young family for quite some time.
Given the current lockdown situation, it could be possible she was reminiscing on a time with a little more freedom to move around.
However, the model is reportedly enjoying being back in Sydney, sharing snaps of the Palm Beach sunset, and behind-the-scenes images of her campaign shoots for both Seafolly and her non-profit beauty company, Share the Base.
“In some ways it’s like I never left, but of course it’s different having my family here now,” she said of her return in an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald in May of this year.
“This is the first time we’ve been here all together, so it’s been nice to be able to see it through their eyes,” she said.
Lara is married to fellow Australian, Sam Worthington, who is currently working on a project with Stan Australia – a new film called Transfusion.
The couple are notoriously private, but have divulged that they first met at a festival in New York in 2013.
They married in December 2014, with Lara already six months pregnant with their first child.
They now have three children, Rocket, born in 2015, Racer, born in 2016, and River, born in 2020.
The couple work hard to keep their children out of the public eye, often only posting faceless photos to the internet.
“Having children is one of the most selfless things you can do,” she told the Sydney Morning Herald.
“It doesn’t become about you anymore – I’m probably fourth or fifth in line.”
Lara is currently the face of iconic Australian swimwear label Seafolly, and also runs Share The Base, which sells LB cream, with all profits going to causes she believes in, including WWF, Bowel Cancer Australia and the Humpty Dumpty Foundation.
