Making his debut on the latest season of the Nine reality show, the 28-year-old quickly caused a stir with some pretty controversial comments.
The 28-year-old Ferrari-loving businessman shocked viewers by boasting about his love of money, admitting he loves ‘watches, nice cars and shiny toys’.
During his introduction, Michael, who works for his parents, said: ‘I’d be lying if I didn’t say I have a taste for watches, nice cars and shiny toys. I’ve worked hard my whole life and I pride myself on that. To be able to reap the rewards is fantastic. I’d rather cry in a Ferrari.’
Michael is the director of his family business, Adelaide Ice, South Australia’s largest ice manufacturing and packaging company.
Discussing his love life, Michael said: ‘In my past, I’ve definitely dated a few girls that you would stereotype as a ditzy blonde, with the fake nails, fake lips and Louis [Vuitton] hanging off the side.’
However, Michael went on to explain that his previous failed relationships have him hoping he’ll be matched with ‘someone with a bit more depth’.
‘I want a girl who knows what she wants, and she’s going to grab it. I would love that,’ he added.
Michael then dug himself into a deeper hold by admitting he wished he could mute certain women.
‘We’ve all been with a good-looking girl and listened to her, and been like, “Ugh! Turn that thing on silent.”
‘You know what I mean? We have, you have… you get me, like.’
We don’t get you, Michael.
