In news that is no doubt going to shock Married At First Sight fans, Hayley Vernon has revealed she and ‘husband’ David Cannon have had sex.

Despite viewers cringing this week as things got more and more awkward between the seemingly mismatched couple, in an interview with Kyle and Jackie O on KIIS FM this morning, Hayley spilled that the couple got intimate on more than one occasion during the filming of the show.
“Our relationship gets to a good point in the next week or so (of episodes),” Hayley said on the radio this morning.
“Have you banged him yet?” Kyle asked.
“It does happen,” she revealed.
However, according to Hayley, things quickly go downhill again.
“I have a ripper of a week and then sh*t just goes down like the Titanic,” Hayley said. “It goes south like no tomorrow.”
Hayley and David haven’t had an easy ride so far.
Things got off to a bad start when Hayley insulted David’s $25-an-hour wage as a truck driver.
The morning after the fight, David recorded a video diary entry that was obtained by New Idea and was released earlier this week, and in it he blasted his TV wife.
“I am looking forward to taking the experts to task when I see them,” David said in the expletive-laden video. “Matched me with a drug addict, f***ing smoker that’s f***ing tall. It’s just bizarre that they think that was a person that I would fall in love with.
“She’s a horrendous human being and there’s nothing she could say to me that would change my mind”.
During her interview with Kyle and Jackie O this morning, Hayley was asked if there was another male MAFS contestant she would have preferred to have been matched with.
“None of them are really my cup of tea, but I’d say out of anyone I’d probably go Chris, Vanessa’s partner,” Hayley said. “Reason being: Family man, really laid back Aussie, I think he’s got a really good moral compass … and he wouldn’t sook about my ciggies.”
