Married At First Sight’s KC Osborne and Michael Goonan ended their five-month relationship this month, but now the former bride has shared a heartbreaking resurfaced video hinting that she’ll be single forever.
Taking to Instagram over the weekend, 31-year-old KC shared a clip from her Married At First Sight audition video filmed in 2019 where producers asked her to describe herself.
“I used to love love so much, like every girl loves love. I guess this year I became a little bit like not bitter but I was like ‘Does it even exist anymore?’ You’re just like ‘Maybe it’s just not in the cards for me,'” the dance instructor mused.
She added: “It is kind of sad, maybe I’m just meant to be this person that goes and teaches and inspires kids and maybe I’m not meant to be that girl that gets love.”
KC emotionally captioned the post: “Me speaking straight facts. The end.”
When footage emerged of Michael with a new mystery woman, KC was forced to tell her fans and followers to refrain from forwarding videos of her ex to her.
“I woke up to messages of what Michael was doing last night… Guys I don’t care to see it. We broke up,” KC said on her Instagram Stories.
“We all handle heartbreaks different. I gave that relationship my heart and soul. I said I was not going to talk about it but every weekend I don’t want to be getting sent all his videos… We are done,” she added.
“Is my heart hurting? Yes. Like you wouldn’t believe. I still wish the best for him and however he handles this break up is his choice.”
KC revealed that she and Michael had broken up after five months of dating with a lengthy Instagram post earlier this month.
“It’s been almost 5 months and a relationship that I will always hold in my heart,” she penned.
“Michael became my best friend and 5 months felt like a lifetime while isolating. I packed my bags and moved in with him with hopes this would be my forever…,” she penned before remarking that she hopes Michael will make “some changes”.
“It’s not my place to talk personally about Michael however I do hope Michael makes some changes as I will always believe in his potential and wish blessings on his life,” she wrote.
When questioned by Nova 100’s Chrissie, Sam & Browny about KC’s “changes” statement, Michael said their relationship problems stemmed from being in social isolation together.
“To be honest it has a bit hard dating in isolation, we sort of were in each other’s company the whole time,” Michael replied, side-stepping the question.
“I got straight off MAFS and sort of wanted to sort keep my head down, just work, that’s what I did. I couldn’t make it work.”
