She’s the undisputed queen of Married At First Sight, and now Cyrell Paule is exclusively giving WHO her first thoughts on the class of 2020.
The pregnant mum-to-be joined the rest of the nation to tune into the highly anticipated return of Married At First Sight 2020.
The 30-year-old, who is set to welcome her firstborn with fellow reality star Eden Dally, loved the first two couples – Josh Pihlak and Cathy Evans, and Poppy Marie and Luke Elgin – as much as we did.
But as for the rumours that Josh is her honey’s doppelgänger? Cyrell says: “Hell to the no”!
“There is only one Eden Dally!”
She also spills that the 2020 hens’ night seems a lot tamer than hers was last year – or, to put it bluntly, a lot less b*tchy!
“I feel like the girls, so far, are getting along a lot better than what happened my hens’ night.”
“You can remember the whole incident with Elizabeth [Sobinoff] and Ines [Basic] when they first met.”
We sure do, girl!

Tonight, after a quick intro to all this year’s lab rats (well it is an experiment…) we watched as first couples Poppy Marie and Luke Eglin, and Cathy Evans and Josh Pihlak met for the first time… and, seconds later, tied the knot.
For one couple, it looks like love at first sight might actually be a thing; but for the other, things got off to a seriously rocky start.

Josh was clearly stoked when he saw Cathy heading down the aisle towards him, murmuring “Strewth” and “Look at those eyes”, and other comments of approval.
And honestly, they were so cute together that we could barely handle it. They mad with the LOLs straightaway, lavished each other with compliments, Cathy got the thumbs-up from Josh’s mum and, frankly, if this isn’t a match made in heaven we don’t know what is.
And it seems Cathy and Josh figured that much out, too, with both of them confiding in producers (and millions of viewers…) that they think the other could be deserving of that coveted title: ‘The One’.

It wasn’t quite so smooth sailing for Poppy and Luke, unfortunately, with Poppy struggling to move past the fact that she’d left her two-year-old twin boys at home so she could go on a quest for love.
The tearful bride went into panic mode after the vows (which were beautiful, btw) were read, making it hard for the pair to snap happy-couple photos. The tears continued at the reception, and while poor Luke was as supportive as he could be, he did admit it was pretty hurtful. So… neither of them were having a great time, basically.
Lucky for… well, for both of them… Poppy’s mates could see that Luke was genuinely a tops bloke, and told her to snap out of it, be herself, and show him that she’s not totally “cold”.

So, by the end of episode 1, there were smiles all round (though some took a little longer to get there), and two couples that – honestly and truly – seem to make a good match.
Bring on MAFS 2020!
