NSW police are currently investigating after a Sydney man was seriously attacked in the city’s CBD.
According to The Daily Telegraph, “emergency services were called to a bus stop” on Carrington St, outside Wynyard Railway Station, after a man was stabbed in the neck while waiting to board a bus.
The attack is said to have taken place just after lunchtime at 2pm.
While the victim suffered stab wounds to the back of his neck, he was quicklu treated by paramedics at the scene, before being driven o St Vincent’s Hospital in a stable condition.
Channel 7 reports authorities are still on the hunt to find the man who stabbed the victim as he was seen making his way toward York St. They’re searching for “a Caucasian male aged in his 30s, said to have a noticeable boil on his face.”
