Married At First Sight‘s resident nice guy Cam Merchant and wife Jules Robinson can do no wrong.
But the same can’t be said about their co-stars.
Did you see him cry on MAFS? He’s the real reason behind his tears…
WHO was exclusively chatting to the pair, when we asked them “imagine if you guys were paired with different people, it wouldn’t have been the same.”
Jules agreed, “I know. I thought about this. Imagine if Cam was with someone else and I would have been like ‘I want him.’ Imagine how that would have gone.”
She went on, “I do believe and obviously say that ‘Cam is hand-picked for me, but I feel like he was tailor-made.’ I do feel like there’s a bit of destiny involved, like it’s just too incredible that I’ve met this person that I’m like ‘you’re my guy.’”
“It’s just mental. It just is. When you have a moment to stop and go, only I would meet the one this way.”
She then made us laugh when she said, “I have thought about it like imagine if he was matched with Martha, but Cam said he’s like I could not be matched with any other.”
“Like him and Heidi, obviously they get along really well, but they’re different. We speak about people, we’re very comfortable to talk about that.”
Adding, “But for me, I couldn’t be matched with anyone else in there. At all. They’re just not me for many reasons.”
So what’s the deal with Heidi and Cam?
“Mel and Heidi are who I’m really close to and they were actually Cam’s closest two in the experiment.”
Cam jumps in, “That’s just a pretty good representation of Jules and I and who we are. So, her closest friends are sort of mine.”
Jules is peak Jules, when she tells us, “Because we surround ourselves with their positivity and how they are.”
