The ongoing dinner party dispute between Jess and Mike on Married At First Sight didn’t deter Dan one bit. In fact, it made his feelings for her more clear.
“She could be a girl that I could fall in love with. I get the fuzzy feeling,” he told producers.
“But Jess isn’t my wife, I’ve got to talk to her one on one with no-one else there.”
Jess then told producers she was also fed up with sneaking around and having to hide her feelings, before heading outside to talk with Dan.
“It’s getting hard doing this,” he told her. “I want to say something but I can’t, and I can’t keep doing this behind Tam’s back and I’m sure you don’t want to keep doing that behind Mick.”
“I’ve come here to find love, I’ve come here to find the girl I want to introduce to my son and want to spend the rest of my life with – I think we need to say something,” he continued.
“I want to come clean and just let everyone know the way I feel about you. I think going into the commitment ceremony we should both write leave against our partners, but ask the experts if we can maybe stay and like, me and you can try something.”
“I think you’re one of the most fantastic people I’ve met in a long time,” Jess responded.
“You make me hopeful for love. Everything about you ticks my boxes and I can see myself falling in love with you.”
