On Friday, the Gold Coast car sales broker will stand in court, after he was accused of helping to scam up to $20 million from families.

It’s alleged that he’s helped cold call more than 600 people.

The MAFS star is one of seven who’ve been charged with the alleged crime.

The Gold Coast Bulletin report, “Police allege the 35-year-old took part in manipulating vulnerable people to become ‘puppet directors’ of 12 scam companies in early 2014.”

It has been reported that the victims were told to pay between $500 and $1000 for a four-day trial of software, then made to sign year-long contracts.

It is alleged former Gold Coast detective Michael Featherstone masterminded the boiler room scam, which netted between $15-20 million. Lawyers for Featherstone — who was charged with fraud alongside his wife Zoei Charissa Keong — have said they would fight the charges.”
