She’s one-half of a relationship that has made headlines over the course of Married At First Sight, but despite being publicly cheated on by TV husband Sam with fellow bride Ines, Elizabeth is mostly disgruntled by her former lover because she believed he was not remorseful after causing her so much grief.
WATCH: What Ines had to say about Elizabeth is savage
When she spoke to WHO, Elizabeth maintained she has “no regrets”, but when asked why she believes Sam applied for the show, she sharply responded: “You should maybe ask him,” before confirming, “No, Sam never did [apologise to me].”
It’s been reported that Sam has since sent her a text, possibly a public ploy to keep himself afloat after various negative media stories.
Over the course of this season, Elizabeth, who exited our screens on Feb. 24, also reveals the only way she got through any of the backlash she received after being on the show was by “taking things with a grain of salt and having a laugh”.
Has her life been affected? Perhaps.
But Elizabeth refuses to let Sam or Ines’ infidelities get the best of her.
“I mean, you see what others were doing. I’m not going to give that air to breathe,” she tells WHO.

Although she hopes any potential partners don’t have “Sam’s qualities”, she wouldn’t say no to going back on the show. But next time, she laughs, she would, “Tell the experts ‘This is exactly what I do not want in a partner!’ ”
She does, however, wish Ines well. “Hopefully, she can enjoy and embrace the goodness and goodwill of people in a positive manner one day.”
Despite Elizabeth’s lack of luck in love, the retail manager is choosing to see the positive side of being on the show, embracing the friendships she has made along the way, adding that a highlight has been, “Meeting my beautiful best friend, Cyrell.”
