Thursday night’s episode of Married At First Sight saw tensions reach boiling point between Hayley Vernon and her “husband” David Cannon – but apparently, we’ve seen NOTHING yet.

Earlier this week, Hayley confirmed that toothbrush-gate (an alleged incident in which David used Hayley’s toothbrush to clean faeces from the toilet – you can read about it here) did in fact happen.
DISGUSTING!
Speaking to The 3pm Pick-Up, Hayley confirmed that not only had David used her toothbrush to clean the toilet, but she;d then used said toothbrush for several days after.
‘It is real. It’s repulsive. It’s disgusting,’ Hayley said of the foul act, which was allegedly filmed on David’s iPhone and sent to the other grooms.
When asked if anything in particular had sparked the incident, the bodybuilder said: ‘Look, I can’t tell you why. But it was a s**t thing to do, excuse the pun.’
She continued: ‘You have to watch how the show plays out… By that action, it says more about David than it says about anyone.
‘When you say, “I want a good orthodox relationship” or “I’m a good Christian boy” and you do something like that, you’re kind of contradicting everything you’re saying.’
Hayley then continued to use the toothbrush until the other brides told her what Daid had done.
‘It’s abusive. That’s what I said straight off the bat. That’s what my dad said. That’s what everyone said,’ she added.
‘And the fact that he filmed it… I don’t understand it. It’s vile.’
Last night viewers watched as things got increasingly tense between the couple, after Hayley allegedly made a derogatory comment about how much money truck driver, David earns.
“Your $25 an hour wage is not going to cut it for me,” is what David alleges Hayley told him.
“It’s the lowest I’ve ever earned but I’m by far the happiest,” he told her.
