The new season of Married At First Sight only started last week, but already a major spoiler may have been revealed.
WATCH: Radio hosts confused over how to pronounce MAFS’s Ivan’s name
On Monday, newlyweds Aleksandra Markovic and Ivan Sarakula appeared to let slip the status of their relationship during a chat with Hit 92.9’s Xavier, Juelz and Pete
The pair were both taking part in the radio interview together, however the reality TV couple weren’t meant to let slip if they were physically together, as that would appear to indicate that they are still an item.
When host Juelz Jarry cheekily asked if they were still in a relationship, Ivan replied: “Why don’t you just FaceTime us?” giving away the fact that he and Aleks were in the same room.
Moments later, the radio hosts asked how the couple had reacted to watching their wedding on television.
‘We watched it together,’ Ivan said, before Aleks added: ‘Yes, we were together.’
Guess that confirms they are officially still together!
Later on in the show, the radio hosts speculated over the unusual pronunciation of Ivan’s name.
The hosts speculated that he’d purposely decided to insist on his name being pronounced ‘ee-vahn’ because he didn’t want people to associate him with the 90s backpacker murderer, Ivan Milat.
I just got a note, it’s “ee-vun” not “eye-vun”,’ radio host Xavier Ellis said, to which his colleague Pete Curulli replied: ‘No, “ee-vahn”.’
Xavier then added: ‘Mate, because [of] Ivan Milat!’
Pete disagreed, insisting the pronunciation was ‘nothing to do with Ivan Milat’.
