Despite marketing herself as one of Instagram’s biggest influencers, former Married At First Sight star Martha Kalifatidis wasn’t considered A-list enough to bag an invite to the highly sought-after Birdcage event at yesterday’s Melbourne Cup.

In a post shared to Instagram on Tuesday, the reality star wrote: “No makeup, no suit, no bets, no tickets to the birdcage… no worries”.
In the picture, a bare-faced Martha poses alongside boyfriend and fellow MAFS star Michael Brunelli whilst wearing a white dressing gown.
Earlier this week, the 31-year-old admitted to feeling extremely clucky.
The reality TV star-turned-beauty influencer, who became known for swilling Cyrell with a glass of red wine on the hit Nine show, took to her Instagram to post a picture of Michael Brunelli with a child on his shoulders.
“My ovaries just exploded,” she captioned the picture.
And she wasn’t the only one. Fellow MAFS co-star Mel Lucarelli added: “Mine too.”
Although they were never friends on the show, Martha recently weighed in Elizabeth Sobinoff’s dramatic weight loss.
Fans of Sobinoff recently voiced concern over the reality star’s sudden fluctuation after she shared a photo of herself looking particularly slim on Instagram.
Recently, Martha told the Daily Mail that the reality star has an autoimmune disease that provokes weight loss.
“I don’t think there is anything to worry about. I think she looks great and wasn’t it a year ago that people were calling her fat?”
“And now they are saying she’s too skinny. Just leave her alone, it’s her body and she can do what she wants with it… I’m pretty sure she was quite open about having health issues, so maybe that has something to do with it?” Martha continued.
“Maybe instead of everyone just saying, ‘Oh she’s [too skinny],’ dig into it a little bit more and you’ll learn or find out the truth.”
