The videographer lost his virginity to ‘wife’ Lauren Huntriss on the Nine reality show, only for the pair’s relationship to sour shortly after.

And even though Matt has now found love with girlfriend Annabel Jameson, the 30-year-old couldn’t resist taking a swipe at make-up artist, Lauren in his latest Instagram post.
The reality star shared a picture of himself sitting on the edge of a volcano during a recent trip to Bali with new love, Annabel.
‘I threw my ring into a volcano. Have a great Tuesday everyone,’ he captioned the picture, referring to his MAFS wedding ring.
The scorned star’s followers were quick to call him out for slamming Lauren so publicly, however Matt was equally quick to defend himself.
The former MAFS stated that he had every right to criticise Lauren, given she had ‘called [him] names’ and sent ‘abusive text messages’ and ‘publicly called [him] gay months after the show ended’.
‘Just because none of it was captured on camera doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. I didn’t start this post to paint anyone with a particular brush,’ he continued.
‘But you can be sure I’m going to defend my right to deal with my trauma in my way. And unless you’re my therapist, kindly keep your opinions to yourself.’
‘Besides it was so hard to get Lauren to leave me alone and stop harassing me that I wanted to let the sleeping dogs lie,’ he claimed.
‘However I’ve started therapy to try and deal with what happened.’
