Mike reveals he’s still in love with Heidi on Married at First Sight

Is there a chance they'll get back together?

They shocked the experts when they revealed they were no longer together, but is there a possible reunion on the horizon for Married At First Sight’s Mike and Heidi?

“So I moved to the Gold Coast immediately after the experiment and we were great for a little bit,” Heidi told the experts.

“Then we went a little bit rocky and then we just went bad. When we got out of the experiment we thought we would just thrive and get better and better – but without our training wheels, we just fell off.”

Heidi continued to say “I kind of lost myself in the experiment. I came in as one person and I left as another person and I guess I didn’t like the person I was and I felt like I lost a part of myself.”

“As much as I loved this man, we were not bringing out the best in each other and we were not becoming better people by being together,” Heidi confessed.

It was then the experts showed a series of flashbacks of the couple’s time during the experiment.

Heidi reacted when she saw Mike tell producers, “I can’t imagine a better match for me. Immediately we had chemistry.”

When the experts asked what happened, Mike immediately responded.

“We don’t see things the same, and that’s the problem. Just the way we see things.”

Heidi added, “I just have a different perspective – but that’s our whole relationship. And that’s why we just can’t be together.”

It was then that Mike made a heartbreaking confession.

“It’s a crying shame because we had this great chemistry.”

He was then asked if he was in love with Heidi.

“Yeah I was,” he replied, before he was asked if he was still in love.

“Yeah probably. It takes a lot to break my heart.”

When Heidi was asked if she fell in love, she responded: “Yeah, totally!”

But is she still in love?

“Nup.”
