Earlier this month, Married At First Sight’s Mishel Karen dropped a major hint that fellow bride, Elizabeth Sobinoff was being fed lines by producers in order to spice up the show. And now, Mishel has sensationally confirmed that return bride, Lizzie regularly wore an earpiece.

During an interview on The Kyle and Jackie O Show this morning, Mishel was asked by Jackie if the rumours were true, to which Mishel replied:
‘That happened at the first dinner party and as she came in at the first commitment ceremony,” the 49-year-old confirmed.
‘Yeah, that was quite disturbing. But then because we actually pulled her up on it…it was Michael [Goonan], and myself,’ the police trainer continued.
The MAFS star went on to explain that after she and Michael called Lizzie out, Nine producers didn’t give her an earpiece anymore.
Speaking on the Not Here to Make Friends podcast two weeks ago, Mishel revealed that she had initially confronted Lizzie about the device during one of the group dinner parties, however show producers conveniently cut out the scene from the final edit.
‘We were just so suss because of the way she wore her hair and she never [normally] wears her hair over that ear,’ she said.
Mishel also said she thought Lizzie was sucking up to show producers.
‘We actually didn’t like the fact that she told us, “This is a one-off experience, you are so lucky to have this and whatever,”‘ she said.
Elsewhere in her interview with Kyle and Jackie O this morning, Mishel revealed that she had cut all ties with her former ‘husband’ Steve Burley.
“We were talking for some time but we cut ties altogether. I think that it’s more on my side. It didn’t work out,” she said.
During their chat, she also addressed the moment she asked Steve if he wanted to have sex, revealing it was said in jest, however the show’s producers were determined to turn her passing comment into a full-blown storyline.
“It was a joke. He was playing with his phone for quite a while so I was just saying random sh*t and I came out with, ‘oh, do you want to have sex?’ One comment blew up into me wanting to have sex with him all the time,” she said.
“It was a joke once. They got me saying the right stuff at the right time.”
