Sara Roza has put her Married At First Sight days behind her and is ready for the next step – motherhood!
On Wednesday November 7, the 39-year-old shared that she is getting her eggs frozen by posting photos from the egg-retrieval process.
The Married At First Sight star penned, “The big day is here! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻”
“In these first two pictures I’m completely fine, just under a short twilight anaesthesia for the collection of my eggs to freeze!”
“Pictures 3,4,5 are literally just moments after my egg collection happened & picture 6 is me resting back in my recliner lounge waiting for my cup of tea with toast & about to go home ❤️🙏🏼☕️.”
Sarah’s clinic, Genea Horizon, explain that egg collection takes 10-20 minutes. They’re vitrified using freezing technology and before the eggs are stored at the clinic until they’re ready for use.
Sarah told fans she was undergoing the treatment three months ago with a cryptic Instagram post which read, “The next chapter in my life & undoubtedly the most important… I’m beyond excited!”
Confirming her parenting news to WHO Sarah remarked she decided to freeze her eggs as “an insurance policy. We have insurance policies on our cars, our houses and our health, but our fertility — I wanted to have something for myself that I could go back to when I needed it.”
